The photo for this postcard of the first automobile to ever visit Carrollton, Ohio, was taken by E.S.Tinlin in 1907. The car was driven into the village of Carrollton, by Mr. Bert Lowe of Steubenville, OH. Seated in the back seat are the two oldest residents of Carrollton at the time; Judge E. R. Eckley (aged 96) and Dr. J. B. Moody (aged 97). The photo was taken on 3rd St., SE, where Eckley and Tinlin lived. Presented here to share and preserve the historical value of the document. The unopened bottle is now with the Scottish Auctioneers McTears of Glasgow and will be auctioned on their next specialist whiskey auction on the 27th of June 07.
